My Yoga journey
When I moved to Denmark, I was surprised to see so many people running, even in rain or snow, which led me to try different fitness classes. One day, I stumbled into my first yoga class at a local fitness center. All the poses and stretches were completely new to me, and I felt uncomfortable. But then something magical happened. When I was lying in the final relaxation pose (Savasana) at the end of the class, I inexplicably felt calm – I was hooked.
After three years of personal practice, I completed my yoga teacher training in Bali. I learned that yoga is so much more than just poses! It’s about dedication, discipline, acceptance, and surrender. I have been teaching weekly yoga classes at my local fitness center for over two years.
Yoga is my support
Yoga became more significant to me after I got diagnosed with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). I tried diets and antibiotics, but it wasn’t getting better. Yoga helped manage my stress, which is the main reason for my gut problems. But it also increased my body awareness, prioritized self-care and revealed the crucial link between gut health and overall well-being.
My community
I want to create a community that welcomes everyone. I will demonstrate how yoga supports digestive health which can lead to a happier, healthier you. I believe in the power of like-minded individuals coming together to support each other on their journeys of self care and personal growth. I can’t wait to meet you – whether it’s in person or online.
